Leopardskin jasper from Mexico makes nice colorful cabochons as shown in the picture to the left. The size of the oval cabochon is 30mm x 40mm or approximately 1 1/4" x 1 1/2" and jewelry findings for this size of cabochon are readily found. No two cabochons are alike, but colors found in leopardskin cabochons, may be beige, tan, yellow, red, black, green, etc. These are hand finished cabochons with a polished dome top and flat back.
