The translucent oval cabochon of mahogany black lace obsidian, (cab #201) is a large size 38mm x 52mm by Gary Olson. The beautiful coloring and unusual size of the cabochon is one of a kind although more can be ordered. Naturally, each cabochon will vary in pattern. The cabochon coloring is reddish brown and black obsidian bands or swirls in a lighter clear/black background. The large cab would be nice for a bola, belt buckle, or other hand crafted projects, especially those using a lighted back.
