Coast to Coast Gem Atlas is a revised fifth edition of the book by H.Cyril Johnson and Robert N. Johnson, copyright 1987.  The 8 1/2" by 11" field trip guide book contains 60 pages of gem locations from the west coast to the east coast of the U.S.A. which have been compiled over many years. Mileages and much useful information is given in this handy reference book for gemstones, fossils and more. Please check with the Bureau of Land Management to see what the rules and regulations are. There is a limit on the amount of some material that may be collected. Never collect in state or national parks, and please get permission before going on private land.  Have fun on your next treasure hunt!
