Fireworks pendant was sent in by Randy Emerick, Virginia Beach, Virginia, and he was judged to be the January 2012 Shop Friend of the Month winner.  Twisting wire around a cabochon and having it look professional is not as easy as it looks, but Randy proved it can be done.  The use of the square and twisted wire on a freeform cabochon is an ideal way to have a one of a kind pendant you can be proud of.  Randy did a wonderful job wirewrapping his jasper cabochon and we congratulate him!  Randy wrote the following: "I've been viewing the contest winners for some time and figured I'll give it a try.  The cabochon is a fireworks jasper from Mexico wrapped in 14K gold filled wire. Wire wrapping is a hobby, I'm a carpenter/framer, but I do many wire wraps and love doing them. Thanks for looking!"  Keep it up Randy the pendant is beautiful!
