Gold Diggers Atlas, 11th Edition, 1999 by Robert Neil Johnson was copyright in 1971 and contains 64 pages of maps of the western United States where gold has been found in the last century.  Remember to check with the Bureau of Land Management for maps to areas you are interested in.  Trespassing on private property is not permitted without approval.
