A sample slab of Hubbard Basin petrified or fossilized wood from Nevada will contain a minimum of five square inches. Hubbard Basin petrified or fossilized wood is highly agatized in colors from gray to blue with white, gold, and possibly some pink. There is some waste in the form of vugs or cryal covered vugs, but the Hubbard Basin slabs will make nice cabochons.
