The Idaho plume agate slabs are of premium quality material from a new find in Custer County, Idaho. (Stock 527s) Note the plumes in green, gold, reddish tan, yellow, etc. in intricate shapes and patterns.  This excellent agate is very dense and good quality, although a few fractures may be possible in some slabs. Slabs are approximately 3/16-1/4" thick. Note that more plumes are visible just under the surface. Polished cabochons are really superb! Sizes of the slabs will vary but usually contain 2 to 5 plus square inches per slab. The slab of Idaho plume agate shown measures approximately 2" x 4.5" and some as small as 2" x 2".  The material is getting rave reviews from experienced lapidarists.
