Ocean wave agate slabs from Madagascar have gentle wavy banding in shades of blue-green with possibly some coral to red colored bands. One order of slabs will contain five square inches. (Approximately 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"). The image to the left containes 3 orders. The slabs do contain some vug holes, but the unique pattern of ocean waves make it desirable to work around the vugs or use them.  Some of the slabs contain minute mica flakes as exhibited in aventurine.
