One pound of Texas red palm wood from the Big Bend area. This silicified fossil material is mainly fiber palm wood. Colors of the red Texas palm wood are mainly tan and brown with some brownish red. Size of the palm wood rough are from 1/2 to 10 pounds. This is old stock material purchased in early 70's. Red Texas palm wood will take a very nice polish for specimens or jewelry.
