Picasso marble slabs will be mainly black to gray with white to brownish red possible. The unique marble patterns in the slabs bring to mind the artist, Picasso, but the slabs can also be scenic with leafless trees against a hillside during winter. Picasso marble slabs have a hardness of 4-5 on the Mohs scale and will make beautiful jewelry, cabochons and more. If you like to tumble, break some of your picasso slabs and start them at 150/220 grit for only a week in your rotary tumbler. You'll find some beautifully shapped stones. Any stones of hardness in the marble range will take less time than agates and jasper in the rotary tumbling process. Stock 580s.
