Rough: Aventurine, orange
The color of orange aventurine rough from India is a light to medium orange containing reflective flakes of mica or hematite. (Stock 210) Some waste with stress fractures possibly due to mining. Most rough sizes are from 7-25 pounds each. Smaller sizes can be saw blocked with an additional charge of $.50 per square inch to saw block. Aventurine is a quartz variety and will take a nice polish. Priced listed is for one pound, but most rough has a weight of 5-10 pounds.
