Rough India bloodstone, small, is in sizes from 2 ounces to under one pound per piece. (Stock 226) This premium chalcedony is a beautiful shade of green with red spots or inclusions and is the same high quality chalcedony as the large size. The bloodstone will take a great polish for tumbling or cabochons. For larger bloodstone slabs see SLABS FOR CABBING. Also see a tumbling grade of bloodstone due to the fact the iron oxide inclusions or spots are fewer and not as visible on the rough exterior, but still great chalcedony. Bloodstone is a clear chalcedony but with numerous green mossy growths only seen under magnification.
