Slabs of blue tigereye from South Africa will have a chatoyant luster when polished. The fibrous structure has mostly been replaced by quartz. Five square inches is considered a slab and may be in any combination to make up to five square inches. The slab may have a small amount of gold color but the majority will be blue. Good material with width from 1 1/4" up to 2" plus. Blue tigereye is very rare and this material is from old stock. Stock 415s.
