The trivet-sunflower on blue was made using a handmade 8" Mexican tile with a wood frame of tiger maple shown in the image to the left. All trivets have a wood backing plus felt buttons to protect wood surfaces. Several choices of wood are listed below and will decrease the cost of the trivet if a different wood is chosen. Trivets are great to place on the kitchen table for protection against hot plates, also use them to display the salt and pepper or use as a decorative display on a kitchen counter. The trivets normally take about 2-3 weeks before shipping. We appreciate your patience! Since the handmade tiles are not completely square, each frame is individually manufactured.
